Circular material innovation for modern living
From Bottle Caps to Timeless Design
Kitaro transforms plastic waste into aesthetic, functional, and meaningful products through circular design. Every piece is molded with intention and finished with a one-of-one pattern that can never be repeated.
About Kitaro
Where circular design meets collectible everyday objects.
Kitaro began with a simple question: what if discarded plastic could be elevated into objects people truly wanted to live with? The answer became a studio practice rooted in material recovery, careful form-making, and a belief that sustainability can look refined, tactile, and emotionally resonant.
We collect caps, sort them by color, melt them into durable composite sheets, and mold them into products that are meant to be used and kept.
Each pattern emerges from real material behavior, giving every coaster, tray, and organizer a singular visual identity.
Kitaro is positioned for campus programs, design-led hospitality, brand gifting, and sustainability initiatives.

How It Works
A transparent circular process, designed to be seen and understood.
Material is sourced from post-consumer streams, events, and local community partners.
Caps are washed, separated by polymer and palette, then arranged to produce a controlled color story.
Through heat and pressure, fragments become dense surfaces with sculptural marbling and durable performance.
The result is a collection of high-character objects built to live beautifully in everyday spaces.
Impact
Environmental value made visible through design.
Kitaro frames sustainability as both an operational model and a communication tool. The more visible the transformation, the more meaningful the product becomes for customers, institutions, and funding partners.
Turning waste into value through design.
Kitaro imagines a future where circular products are not compromise choices, but the most desirable objects in the room.
Brand Story / Mission
A circular design brand built to inspire adoption, not pity.
Kitaro is not framed as a small recycling project. It is a premium design studio with a serious material thesis: overlooked waste can become durable, aesthetic, and investment-ready product systems.
That positioning matters. It opens doors to hospitality programs, campus pilots, public innovation showcases, and mission-aligned brand collaborations that want both measurable impact and strong visual identity.
